Our Board of Directors
Our directors are volunteers who have been drawn from our membership bringing to the board many years of landlord experience in addition to business, financial and taxation expertise in their own roles and businesses. In addition all directors must be landlords themselves or derive the majority of their personal income from the private rented sector

Paul has been a property landlord for over thirty years and a member of the ELA for most of that time.
Paul has been re-appointed as Chair of the ELA Board, a role that he held some 4 years ago.

James has been a landlord for 12 years, initially converting his first home into a buy-to-let when moving from Chelmsford to Norfolk. His portfolio has since grown to properties mainly based in Gt Yarmouth. He also has a keen interest in all things Triathlon related.

Charlie has recently been appointed as Secretary to the Board, and has been a landlord for over 10 years.
Charlie is able to bring her experience as company director in her personal capacity within the financial services sector to this role.

Phil is a Norwich based Golden Triangle student landlord, with over 20 years experience.
In addition, Phil has been a proactive ELA Board Member for over 10 years, and a past Norwich Branch Chair.
In his spare time, Phil is a keen spin cyclist and football fan.

Trevor has been a landlord for over 44 years and has been a member of the Eastern Landlords Association since 1998.

Trevor previously held the post of Secretary to the Board, and has worked with the Norfolk & Norwich Landlords Association prior to joining the Eastern Landlords Association.

Oliver has been a landlord since 2007, when he rented out his Ipswich townhouse to go backpacking in Asia.
He rents or manages mostly furnished properties around Bury St. Edmunds & Norwich; specialising in long-term lets to corporations for their employees. He also chaired ELA West Suffolk branch meetings from 2017
